My name is Sydney Helt, I am in 5th grade. I love to play soccer, hang out with friends, and draw. My favorite color is green,and my favorite food is steak, i also love to drive the go cart and electric scooter. I like to listen to music on my ipod, watch t.v., read and play on my computer. I have a pie-bald dachshund named Buddy and a jack-russel named Shelby.I was born in McAlester,OK.on November 1st, 2000.

Silly Sting Showdown

On Christmas morning 2008 at my dad’s house as I walk down the hallway to the living room I see my stocking over the fire place, I don’t see anyone so I sneaked over to my stocking, and got 3 cans of silly sting out of my stocking. My brother & dad are coming down the hall so I hide the cans of silly sting back in my stocking.

We get everything out of our stockings, my dad asks “Are you guys ready?”

Me & my brother Austin where sitting on the floor, we look at each other then at our dad and say “oh yeah!” very slow.

We get everything out of our stoking and have a silly string showdown.

We grab the cans of silly sting then, me, my dad, &my brother get in our hiding place. I ask if everyone was ready. “Ready!” everyone called out.

So my dad started to count down from 10. “10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.” “GO!” my dad yells.

The showdown begins, silly string fly’s at me and my dad when the silly string hits you it is really soft and mushy it feels like gummy worms. The many colors stick to my pj pants and sweatshirt. When my brother finial comes out of his hiding place I’m his first victim. I come down to get away from Austin’s silly string. When I am getting back up Austin shoots at me again I’m hit.

When the showdown was over the backyard was covered in blue, green, black, white, red, purple, pink, yellow, and orange silly string the showdown was over my brother Austin had won this showdown.

Then we were back on the floor opening presents one by one.
